By 2017, video will account for 69% of all consumer internet traffic, according to Cisco. Engage viewers and they will share the video with others. Guests will spend longer on your website and more time interacting with your brand. For any social media campaign, any SEO exercise, video is without doubt one of the best tools in the kit. At Sizzle we understand this and work to integrate video seamlessly into your site. We know video and have been creatively incorporating video into our web design process for over a decade.
Other subtle but memorable branding events are visual clues for interactive elements; hyperlinks, buttons, hover states, drop-down menu-pads, subtle lines, arrows and many other elements can help a brand stand apart. And it's not only their colors but also how they behave and animate upon click, mouse over, scroll, swipe, expand and collapse, close and open.
These often overlooked interaction events set an important tone. Elements that move on the screen are impactful and memorable, and can be unique for a brand. Furthermore transitions and subtle animations also serve to inform guests an event is taking place or occurred.
As part of our design process and strategy we develop prototypes to help show what's possible. The prototypes are an essential part of the process, so that one can understand how interactive elements can play an integral part of a site's experience.
Apple for one, built a library of visual clues as animations and subtle transitions into their OS to help stand apart from it's competitors, and help users more easily understand key functions.

Color can also serve as overlays or light screens over photographs — partially or fully. Overlays can be set to different opacities based on the photograph or desired effect.
Photographic treatments provide another unique branding element and help reinforce a theme. Blocks of color separate and highlight content, creating an element of focus with digestible lengths of content.
